Travel Sickness Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Nausea and vomiting occurring when travelling, either
by sea, air or car.
Causes:
Constitutional, reading when in a car, emotional.
Symptoms:
Pallor, nausea sweating, retching, dizziness, fainting, weakness, prostration, vomiting.
Treatment:
Borax; Cocculus indicus; Kreosotum; Nux vomica; Petroleum; Rhus toxicodendron; Tabacum.
Borax: Air travel; worse from downward motion, air pockets.
Cocculus indicus: Salivation, worse due to smell of food, better when lying down.
Kreosotum: Nausea, vomiting, retching, burning pains, severe thirst; the limbs are often chilled. Restlessness.
Nux vomica: Associated with constipation and indigestion. Splitting headache.
Petroleum: Nausea, vomiting, giddiness. Water accumulates in mouth. Better on eating during attack, worse sitting-up or with bright lights.
Rhus toxicodendron:Severe nausea and restlessness, improved by lying down.
Tabacum: Weakness, sweating, nausea and trembling.
