Stiff Elbows Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Pain in the joints, usually arthritic in type.
Causes:
Different forms of arthritis.
Symptoms:
Pain, incapacity and stiffness.
Treatment:
Bryonia alba; Pulsatilla nigricans; Rhus toxicodendron; Ruta graveolens.
Bryonia alba: When the disorder is better with rest and worse with movement and heat.
Pulsatilla nigricans: One of the best remedies for knee pain. Worse with heat and better from walking in cool weather. Thirstless and often chilly; the pains and symptoms are variable. The knees crack (crepitus) on motion.
Rhus toxicodendron: When the condition is worse with rest and better with sustained movement and heat. Pains are always worse with cold and damp. Useful when the pains are improved by warmth, continued walking and movement; worse on prolonged sitting. Usually worse on rising (getting up from bed).
Ruta graveo/ens: Useful for pain in the large joints; often better during warm, damp weather.
