Renal Colic Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Severe spasms of colic in the loin area radiating to the groin.
Causes:
Renal calculus being passed. Due to infection or spasm.
Symptoms:
Severe pain, doubling-up, collapse, anxiety and fear. Deposits in urine.
Treatment:
Aconitum napellus; Berberis vulgaris; Cakarea carbonica; Dioscorea villosa; Magnesium phosphoricum; Odmum canum.
Aconitum napellus: When fear and anxiety are pronounced.
Berberis vulgaris: In an acute attack (ten drops of the tincture, repeated, about every ten minutes).
Cakarea carbonica: Severe cramping pains and vomiting, improved with the local application of heat.
Dioscorea villosa: Restlessness, writhing and cramping pains34.
Magnesium phosphoricum: Excellent for severe colic with excruciating pain, which is relieved by heat
Odmum canum: Patient writhes in agony, is restless and may pass blood in the urine (hematuria).
