Nausea And Vomiting Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Nausea is an impleasant sensation in the abdomen, often culminating in vomiting, which is an acute regurgitation of the contents of the stomach, often forcefully.
Causes:
Varied causes; commonly due to excessive eating, dietary indiscretions, emotional or infectious diseases. Morning sickness. Medications or psychosomatic causes. Alcoholism, liver disorders and gastric disorders.
Symptoms:
Nausea, sweating, weakness, loss of appetite, dizziness and faintness. Vomitus may be clear or contain bile, blood, mucus, undigested food or a large amounts of fluid.
Treatment:
Antimonium crudum; Arsenicum alburn; Bryonia alba; Kreosotum; Ignatia amara; Ipecacuanha; Nux vomica; Zincum metallicum.
Antimonium crudum: Nausea with a foul smell, white tongue and heaviness in the stomach.
Arsenicum album: Prostration, vomiting and a burning sensation in the stomach; coldness of the extremities. Projectile vomiting.
Bryonia alba: Nausea and faintness when rising up. Slightest movement aggravates.
Kreosotum: Chronic persistent vomiting.
Ignatia amara: Tendency to choke (globus hystericus). Stitches when not swallowing; better when eating solids.
Ipecacuanha: Diarrhea; much saliva, constant nausea and vomiting.
Nux vomica: The best remedy, when the symptoms follow a period of dietary indiscretion and consumption of alcohol in excess.
Zincum metallicum: Food is ejected suddenly, without retching.
