Muscular Dystrophies Homeopathy Remedy

Definition:
Weakness and wasting of certain groups of voluntary muscles.

Causes:
Heredo-familial group of disorders.

Symptoms:
Progressive wasting and weakness of muscles.

Treatment:
Abrotanum; Causticum; Gelsemium sempervirens; lodium. Lycopodium davatum; Natrium muriaticum

Abrotanum: Legs greatly emaciated. Joints stiff and lame (Lower half wasted).

Causticum: Unsteady walking and patient easily falls: crepitus and pain in joints.

Gelsemium sempervirens: Loss of muscular control. Cramps in muscles. Excessive trembling and weakness of all limbs.

Lycopodium clavatum: Progressive, chronic disorder. Emaciation and pre-senility. Patient is thin, withered; lacks energy, has a poor circulation; cold extremities (upper half wasted).

lodium: Ravenous hunger; eats freely and well; yet emaciates progressively. Hypertrophy and induration of glandular tissue. Palpitations which are aggravated with the least exertion.

Natrium muriaticum: Severe emaciation, "losing flesh while living well." Patient prefers excessively salty foods.
