Morning Sickness Homeopathy Remedy

Definition:
Nausea and vomiting, usually in the early weeks of pregnancy.

Causes:
Psychological factors or hormonal imbalances.

Symptoms:
Persistent early morning nausea and vomiting during the first three months of pregnancy. Lack of appetite.

Treatment:
Aletris farinosa; Anacardium orientate; Carbolicum acidum; Cerium oxalkum; Ipecacuanha; Kreosotum; Natrium phosphoricum; Nux vomica; Sepia; Symphoricarpus racemosus.

Aletris farinosa: For difficult and persistent eases where exhaustion, fatigue with fainting and dizziness are pronounced features.

Anacardium orientak: Helpful when ingesting food relieves the nausea. Sensation of a plug in the throat. Worse on an empty stomach.

Carbolicum acidum: Indicated when irritability and headaches are associated.

Cerium oxalkum: For chronic cases, with severe vomiting of partially digested food.

Ipecacuanha: Generally the most effective remedy. Patient has a clean tongue.

Kreosotum: Valuable in relieving the symptoms of nausea with profuse salivation. Vomiting of watery gastric contents and slimy mucus. Better with warmth.

Natrium phosphoricum: Helpful in the early weeks. Nausea with a sour taste in the mouth The vomitus tastes sour. Ravenously hungry, immediately after the bout of vomiting.

Mux vomica: Useful in morning sickness where retching and nausea are the predominating symptoms and vomiting is not very pronounced. Constipation is often present.

Sepia: For nausea accompanied by a very unpleasant, bitter taste. Bile is vomited. Exhaustion, straining, backache, irritability and constipation are present.

Symphoricarpus racemosus: Of great, value when the nausea and vomiting are very severe and there is an aversion to ail foods. Generally the nausea is significantly less when lying supine.
