Meniere'S Disease Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
A dysfunction of the inner ear involving both hearing and balance.
Causes:
Dysfunction of the endolymphatic system. Many patients also give a history of migraine.
Symptoms:
Attacks of giddiness and tinnitus, accompanied by deafness. As the disease progresses, the attacks of giddiness arid tinnitus become less frequent and may disappear altogether when the nerve deafness is complete.
Treatment:
Carboneum sulphuratum; Chenopodium anthelminticum; Cinchona (China) officinalis; Natrium salicylicum; Salicyiicum acidum; Silicea.
Carboneum sulphuratum: Impaired hearing. Buzzing and singing noises in the ear like an aeohan harp.
Chenopodium anthelminticum: Great sensitivity to sound, but comparative deafness to the human voice. Hearing better for high pitched notes, impairment for low pitched sounds. Buzzing. Enlarged tonsils.
Cinchona (China) officinalis: A very effective remedy for most cases.
Natrium solicylicum: Low, buzzing tinnitus. Deafness, with severe vertigo.
Salicylicum acidum: Roaring and ringing in ears. Deafness with vertigo.
Silicea: Fetid discharge. Loud pistol report like tinnitus. Roaring in ears, sensitive to all noises.
