Leucoderma Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Depigmentation of the skin occurring in patches.
Causes:
Usually unknown; secondary leucoderma may follow burns, scars and skin infections
Symptoms:
Light areas of skin, which often contrast markedly with the surrounding darker skin.
Treatment:
Arsenicum album; Manganum aceticum; Selenium; Sepia.
Arsenicum album: Skin chaffed around the genitals. Squamous eruptions may accompany (low potencies are used).
Selenium: Itching around the ankles and between the fingers. Hair falls from beard and genital area.
Sepia: For idiopathic leucoderma in young persons.
Manganum aceticum: Suppuration with red spots, itching; better with scratching. Chronic eczema associated with amenorrhea. Deep cracks at the elbows.
