Infertility Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
The failure to conceive after continual attempts to procreate over a prolonged period.
Causes:
Causes are multiple; the problem may be in the male or the female. Cause may be determined by the sperm profile, menstrua! features and examination of the partners. Immaturity, anxiety, stress, debility, diabetes and allied problems may also be responsible. Mechanical obstructions, such as narrowing of the fallopian tubes need surgical attention.
Symptoms:
Pregnancy fails to occur. Repeated miscarriages.
Treatment:
Constitutional remedy; Aurum metallicum; Borax; Conium maculatum; Sodium; Natrium muriaticum; Phosphorus; Sepia; Silicea.
Aurum metallicum: Especially where mental depression is a leading feature.
Borax: When there is an associated chronic leucorrhea.
Conium maculatum: A very valuable remedy when associated with painful breasts and scanty weak periods.
lodium: A useful complementary (adjunct) remedy for thin emaciated women; unable to gain weight but always hungry and constantly eating. Quiet and intolerant of heat. Goitre.
Natrium muriaticum: Where the nervous features are well pronounced. Tearful, wants to be left alone; consolation aggravates, constantly anxious and feels insecure.
Phosphorus: For the slim woman, outgoing and vivacious who likes people and is popular. The periods are profuse and often late with burning pains. Libidinal interest is often intense.
Sepia: Where exhaustion, irritability, loss of libidinal interest and apathy are profound. All symptoms are worse in the evenings. Hates loved ones and abhors housework.
Silicea: This is a very useful remedy which has given good results when other remedies have failed.
