Hepatitis Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
A viral or amoebic infection that causes inflammation of the liver cells. There are two main forms; infective (epidemic jaundice) and serum (homologous serum jaundice). Although both share a common pathology, the incubation period for the former is about 15-50 days, with 15-100 days for the latter. Serum hepatitis is generally more severe. The amoebic form presents either as an acute or a chronic abscess.
Causes:
The infective form is usually transmitted by food that is contaminated by the feces of a previously infected person. The serum type is transmitted by blood or serum used for transfusions; or more commonly by needles or syringes used on persons already suffering from the disease; this is common among drug addicts. The skin becomes jaundiced and the selera of the eyes turns yellow, about two weeks after the onset. The urine turns dark and the stools become pale. There is loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and an enlarged, tender liver.

Bryonia alba; Chelidonium majus; Lachesis; Mercurius vivus; Natrium sulphuricum; Nux vomica.
