Hemorrhoids Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
A varicose dilatation of a vein of the hemorrhoidal plexus, resulting from a persistent increase in venous pressure.
Causes:
Pregnancy, constipation, unbalanced diet and sedentary habits. Cirrhosis of liver.
Symptoms:
Pain, itching, discomfort, bleeding and prolapse of the pile masses.
Treatment:
Aesculus hippocastanum; Aloe socotrina; Collinsonia canadensis; Ignatia amara; Mux vomica; Pulsatilla nigricans; Sulphur.
Aesculus hippocastanum: A feeling of "splinters" in the rectum. Purple piles, severe rectal and back pain; with dryness, itching and burning in the anal area.
Aloe socotrina: Piles protrude like a bunch of grapes, bleeding frequently. Better with the application of cold water. Diarrhea is common; the anus and rectum have a scraped and burning sensation.
Collinsonia canadensis: When piles and itching are severe. There is a feeling of sticks in the rectum and, usually, severe constipation. Continual bleeding.
Ignatia amara: Prolapse and painful contraction of the anus after stools.
Nux vomica: With associated indigestion, waking between midnight and 2 a.m. Irritability and constipation are common. The hemorrhoidal masses are large, burning and stinging often with a bruised - like low back pain. Cirrhosis.
Pulsatilla nigricans: Useful in pregnancy. Often there is an associated indigestion and an absence of thirst; piles that bleed easily.
Sulphur: Piles are not. bleeding, but there is constipation and anal itching. A throbbing headache is characteristic.
