Hematemesis Homeopathy Remedy

Definition:
The vomiting of blood, which is usually fresh and bright red.

Causes:
Swallowing of blood from epistaxis, after a dental extraction, peptic ulcer or aspirin, irritation of the stomach wall, alcoholism, cirrhosis of the liver; hypertension.

Symptoms:
Blood in the vomitus, nausea, collapse and shock.

Treatment:
Aeon/turn napellus; Arnica montana; Ipecacuanha; Nux vomica; Phosphorus.
(This disorder calls for emergency treatment.)

Aconitum napellus: Hematemesis with a fear of impending death.

Arnica montana: May be given every ten to fifteen minutes to combat the shock from the loss of blood. The 6C potency is used and repeated every 10 minutes.

Ipecacuanha: With vomiting of bright red blood.

Nux vomica: For cirrhosis of the liver.

Phosphorus: Helps hemostasis.
