Halitosis Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Offensive, fetid breath.
Causes:
Decaying teeth, gums or tonsils; excessive carbohydrate intake, causing stasis or fermentation in the stomach. Inferior dental fillings.
Symptoms:
The breath has an offensive and putrid odor.
Treatment:
Carbo vegetabilis; Kalium phosphoricum; Mercurius solubilis; Nux vomica; Pulsatilla nigricans; Spigelia anthelmia.
Carbo vegetabilis: Flatulence, weakness, poor circulation, a particularly offensive breath, often from a decaying tooth or infected gums.
Kalium phosphoricum: The breath is offensive and the tongue is coated yellow.
Mercurius solubilis: Profuse, offensive breath associated with much sweating of the body generally.
Nux vomica: Offensive breath due to a digestive upset or alcoholism. Usually associated with irritability.
Pulsatilla nigricans: Associated with indigestion. Like other features in the Pulsatilla constitution, the symptoms are variable and changeable.
Spigelia anthelmia: Useful in very chronic cases.
