Definition:
An enlargement of the mammary glands in the male.
Causes:
An endocrine disorder, which may also lead to impotence and atrophy of the testes. It may also be caused by a liver disorder.
Symptoms:
Enlargement is usually bilateral, but unilateral enlargement may also occur.
Treatment:
Mercurius iodatus fiavus (proto iodatus}.
Mercurius iodatus fiavus: Warm perspiration and gastric disturbances may be accompanied by swollen and large axillary lymph nodes; often worse on the right side. Thickly coated tongue, yellow at the base. If not successful. Plumbum iodatum is a good second remedy.
