Frigidity Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
inability to respond to and participate in normal sexual intercourse (usually in the female).
Causes:
Many causes, which are often psychological; immaturity, trauma, constitutional, malnutrition, prolonged illness.
Symptoms:
Tension, pain, anxiety, absence of normal sexual responses and lack of any pleasure.
Treatment:
Argentum nitricum; Belladonna atropa; Ignatia amara; Natrium muriaticum; Pulsatilla nigricans; Silicea.
Argentum nitricum: For the phobic personality. Worse with heat, but in general more mature and assertive than the Pulsatilla make-up.
Belladonna atropa: For pronounced pain and spasm.
Ignatia amara: When based on fear, immaturity and anxiety.
Natrium muriaticum: With anxiety, fear and inability to relax. Helpful when the problem is acute and of recent onset, or associated with a psychological trauma, such as rape.
Pulsatilla nigricans: For the timid, fair-haired, tearful, immature female. Passive and variable in all things. Never the same from one day to the next. Intolerant of heat.
Silicea: In long-standing cases. Chronic illness.
