Fever Homeopathy Remedy

Definition:
Clinically a rise in temperature above 93.4^oF or 36.5^oC (body heat), although each individual varies slightly around this figure.

Causes:
An infection or damage to the body. More rarely, when the causes are unknown, but not associated with infection, it may be emotional.

Symptoms:
Heat, irritability, weakness, lethargy, crying, no appetite, constipation or diarrhea.

Treatment:
Aconitum napellus; Arsenicum album; Belladonna atropa; Bryonia alba; Nux vomica; Rhus toxicodendron.

Aconitum napellus: Due to dry, cold wind or fear. Restlessness, intense thirst, alternating chills and flushes; hot, dry skin.

Arsenicum album: Severe and prolonged, with prostration.

Belladonna atropc: Intense, violent redness of face; mental confusion; throbbing headache.

Bryor ia alba: Worse with movement; cough; yellow coated tongue; constipation; shooting pains; irritable.

Nux vomica: Associated with acute coryza.

Rhus toxicodendron: Pain, fever due to exposure to cold and damp.
