Enuresis, Nocturnal Enuresis Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Loss of normal bladder control associated with bed-wetting and incontinence.
Causes:
Infection, senility, confusional states, spina bifida, psychological and prostatic disorders.
Symptoms:
Bed-wetting by day or night (or both).
Treatment:
Apis mettfica; Baryta carbonica; Causticum; Equisetum hyemale; Ferrum phosphoricum; Gelsemium sempervirens; Nux vomica; Sabal serrulata.
Apis mettfica: Useful when there is scanty urine. Drowsiness; oedema of the extremities and lack of thirst. Stinging, burning pains are often associated, especially with the last few drops voided.
Baryta carbonica: Incontinence due to senility.
Causticum: Most useful with dribbling. Often involuntary loss of urine when coughing or laughing. Bladder atonia with delayed commencing and finishing.
Equisetum hyemale: With an associated acute or chronic infection.
Ferrum phosphoricum: An inability to control the urine flow.
Gelsemium sempervirens: Enlarged prostate and a calculus in the bladder are associated.
Nux vomica: Dribbling and loss of control of the bladder. Often associated with tearing pains and irritability.
Sabal serrulata: When associated with an enlarged prostate.
