Bradycardia Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Slow and weak pulse.
Causes:
Constitutional, myocardial ischemia, toxic causes.
Symptoms:
Sluggishness and lethargy.
Treatment:
Abies nigra; Apocynum cannabinum; Digitalis purpurea; Kalmia latifolia.
Abies nigra: In dyspeptic disorders of the aged, with functional heart problems.
Apocynum cannabinum: In oedema, ascites, hydrothorax and urinary disorders. Slow and weak pulse is a prime indication for this remedy.
Digitalis purpurea: The basic remedy for heart disorders. Helps to normalize a weak, irregular and intermittent pulse. Often a slow regular pulse in the recumbent posture, becoming irregular and dicrotic on sitting up. An auricular flutter and fibrillation may follow. Cold skin and an irregular respiration are also features.
Kalmia latifolia: For tachycardia or bradycardia due to rheumatic fever.
