Appendicitis Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Inflammation of the appendix with pain in the lower abdomen, usually associated with tenderness over the appendix area (right iliac fossa).
Causes:
Sub-acute or chronic appendicitis, abdominal lyrnphad-enopathy, spasm and constipation.
Symptoms:
Pain, tenderness in the right lower abdomen, usually without fever, nausea and vomiting.
Treatment:
Apis mellifica; Arsenicum album; Belladonna atropa; Bryonia alba; Lachesis; Nux vomica; Rhus toxicodendron.
Apis mellifica: Pain is stinging or burning.
Arsenicum album: Pain is burning. The patient is restless, anxious and thirsty for small sips of water. Chill and exhaustion are pronounced. The tongue is red and uncoated.
Belladonna atropa: Tender, swollen, worse with jarring or pressure, Extremely sensitive to touch.
Bryonia alba: The patient lies motionless and the least movement or jarring aggravates the pain.
Lachesis: Cutting pains in the lower right abdominal quadrant, worse on walking.
Nux vomica: Excessive food and alcohol.
Rhus toxicodendron: Restlessness, better with movement and warmth.
