Abdominal Distention Homeopathy Remedy
Definition:
Sensation of being bloated and distended after meals.
Causes:
Indigestion, peptic ulcer, dietary and excessive medications.
Symptoms:
Fullness, pain and discomfort after meals.
Treatment:
Argentum nitricum; Carbo vegetabilis; Chamomilla; Cinchona (China) officinalis; Lycopodium davatum; Nux vomica
Argentum nitricum: Abdominal pain and flatulence; cannot tolerate heat.
Carbo vegetabilis: Flatulence, pain and wind in the upper abdominal region.
Chamomilla: Flatulence of infants, better after eructation of wind. Associated with irritability.
Cinchona (China) officinalis: Especially for the upper and lower abdominal areas. Weakness is prominent. The area is tender but is better with firm pressure and warmth.
Lycopodium davatum: Flatulence in the lower abdomen.
Nux vomica: Flatulence with eructation of gastric juice or bile, due to excessive medications.
