Phosphate of magnesiaClinical Picture:
This is popularly called the "homoeopathic aspirin". Magnesium phosphoricum relieves any spasmodic pain, such as calf muscle cramps, menstrual cramps, biliary or intestinal colic. The pain is better with warmth.
Intermittent, spasmodic pains and neuralgia.
Colic with distention, better with gentle pressure and warmth.
Colic with belching, which gives no relief. Frequent hiccoughs with heartburn.
Toothache relieved by heat. Teething problems of children. Symptoms usually worse on the right side.
General muscular weakness. Writer's cramp and other occupational cramps. Sensation of a constricting band around the body, which is worse with, dry or cold air.
Headache due to excessive studying. Anxieties of students and public performers.
Cold touch, cold bath.Better:
KaSlum phosphoricum, Colocynthis, Siiicea, Zincum metaiiicum and Dioscorea villosa are similar remedies.
