Clinical Picture:Well-built persons inclined to obesity; a better remedy for children than adults.
Diminished sensation in fauces, larynx, urethra, entire body; staggering, uncertain gait; feels as if the legs are uncontrollable when walking.
Nervous, cannot sit still, must move about or keep busy; hands and fingers in constant motion; (fidgety feet Zincum metallicum); twitching fingers.
Fits of uncontrollable weeping and melancholic delusions.
Loss of memory; forgets how to talk; absent-minded, must be told a word before speaking it (Anacardium orientale).
Restlessness and sleeplessness due to worry and grief (Hyoscyamus niger).
Night terrors of children (Kalium phosphoricum), grinding teeth in sleep, screams, moans, cries; horrible dreams, cannot be comforted.
Somnambulism (Silicea).
Spasms, from fright, anger or other emotions in nervous, plethoric persons; during parturition, teething, whooping cough.
Epilepsy, congenital syphilitic, tubercular; usually a day or two before menses; at new moon; headache follows attack.
Daily colic in infants about 5 a.m. (at 4 p.m., Lycopodium clavatum). Stammering; slow, difficult speech (Bovista, Stramonium).
Acne simplex, indurata, rosacea; bluish-red pustules on face, chest, shoulders; leaves unsightly scars (Carbo animalis); in young fleshy persons of intemperate habits. Bright's disease (nephritis).
