Clinical Picture:Soreness of scalp, throat, respiratory tract, rectum, anus, urethra, vagina, uterus (as if bruised: Arnica; as if sprained: Rhus toxicodendron). Disturbed mentation. Melancholic mood; sad, hopeless; grief, sorrow; with weeping, the least thing makes (the child) cry. intense sympathy for the suffering of others.
Disorders from long lasting grief and sorrow (Phosphoricum acidum), from loss of sleep, night watching (Ignatia amara, Nux vomica); from sudden emotions, fear, fright; joy (Coffea cruda), from anger.
Constipation; frequent, ineffectual desire (Nux vomica); stools pass better when person is standing; impeded by hemorrhoids; tough and shining; like grease, in children with nocturnal enuresis.
Urine: Involuntary; passage when coughing, sneezing or blowing the nose (Pulsatilla nigricans).
Cicatrices, especially burns, scalds, freshen up, become sore again.
Paralysis of specific regions; vocal cords, tongue, eyelids, face, extremities, bladder. Watts, large, jagged or flat.

Relations:
Complementary to Carbo vegetabilis and Sulphur.
