Clinical Picture:
Headache, as if "a tornado has hit the head"; as if the head had been blown to pieces; has to sit up at night to hold it together.
Diseases of elderly persons with marked venous plethora, blue cheeks, blue lips and great debility. Circulation stagnant with vital capacity at a minimum; cyanosis (Carbo vegetabilis, Antimonium tartaricum).
Glands are indurated, swollen, painful, in neck, axillae, groin, mammae; pains lancinating, cutting, burning (Conium maculatum).
Easily strained from lifting, even small weights; straining and overlifting easily produces great debility; ankles over-rotate when walking. Joints weak; easily sprained by slight exertion (Ledum palustre).
Aversion to open, dry, cold air.
During menses the patient is so weak that she can hardly speak (Alumina, Coccuius indicus); menses flows only in the mornings. Menstruation, leucorrhea, diarrhea are ali exhausting (Arsenicum album; are all offensive: Psorinum).
Hearing confused; cannot tell from which direction a sound comes.
Stitching pains remain in the chest after recovery from pleurisy (Ranunculus bulbosus).

Modalities:
Worse:

After shaving.
Slightest touch.
After midnight.

Relations:
Complementary to Calcarea carbonica, Phosphorus. Similar to Badiaga, Bromium, Carbo vegetabilis, Phosphorus, Sepia and Sulphur.

Summary of Indications:
Headaches - circulatory disorders - menstrual disorders.
