Clinical Picture:Sensation as if drops of water failing on or from the head, anus, stomach and heart.
Obstinate constipation, with retention of urine; constriction of the anus.
Contractures of fingers after a sprain of the hands. Dislocation of patella on going upstairs or up an incline.
Dyspnea or bronchial asthma, where the patient can only breathe when standing up. Choking when swallowing, things go down "the wrong way" (Anacardium orientale).
Pain extending from the urethra backwards, burning, biting; posteriorly radiating, stitching pains while urinating.
Modalities:
Worse:
Lying down.
Going upstairs.
Relations:
Similar to Cantharis, Capsicum, Gelsemium sempervirens, Petroselinum in early stages of specific urethritis.
Summary of Indications:
Constipation - bronchial asthma - urethritis.
