Night - blooming cereus

Clinical Picture:
Headache which is pressing, like a heavy weight on the vertex, particularly at climacteric (Gionoinum, Lachesis).
Headache and neuralgia is periodic, right sided; severe, throbbing, pulsating pain.
The whole body feels as if it is caged, as if a wire is being twisted tighter and tighter.
Constriction of the throat, chest, heart, bladder, rectum, uterus and vagina, often caused or brought on by the slightest contact.
"Oppression of the chest, as from a great weight; as if an iron band prevents normal respiration. A sensation of a cord tightly tied around the lower part of the chest.

Modalities:
Worse:

On contact.
Lying on the left side.
Walking.
Going upstairs.
Better:
Open air.

Relations:
Lachesis and Tabacum are similar remedies.

Summary of Indications:
Headaches and neuralgia constricting in nature - menopausal headaches - heart disorders (angina pectoris).
