BELLADONNA ATROPA
Deadly nightshade
Clinical Picture:The Belladonna patient is flushed, red hot and restless.
Symptoms are violent and of sudden onset. The person may be with a sore throat or cough, headache, earache, influenza or fever.
Earaches, especially in children. Pupils dilated, eyes bright, inflamed, sensitive to light. Lymph nodes enlarged.
Teething problems.
Skin dry and hot to touch; sweat on the covered parts.
Mouth and throat are very dry.
Throbbing, congestive headaches.
Patient is sleepy but unable to sleep. Restless sleep with muscular twitching.
Sunstroke or heatstroke with a pounding pulse.
Throbbing pains, worse during motion or jarring.
Vomiting due to fright or nervousness. Hallucinations.

Draught.
Lying down.
After 3 p.m.
After midnight.
Rest.
Standing or sitting erect (or semi-erect).
Warm room.
Relations:
Belladonna atropa is the acute of Calcarea ostrearum (carbonica).
