Wild indigo

Clinical Picture:
Aversion to mental exertion. Indifference to the environment.
Inability to concentrate at work.
Can swallow only liquids (Baryta acetica), solid food gags.
Painless pharyngitis.
Muscular pains; parts rested upon feel sore.
All excretions very offensive.

Modalities:
Worse:

Humid heat.
Fog.
Indoors.

Relations:
Similar to Arnica montana, Arsenicum album, Bryonia alba and Gelsemium sempervirens (in the early stages of fever with malaise, nervousness, flushed face, drowsiness and muscular pain).

Summary of Indications:
Mental apathy - pharyngitis - polymyositis.

Antidotes:
Nux vomica.
