Clinical Picture:Poiychrest for demanding workaholics. Neat and orderly. This is the most frequently used remedy for stomach disorders, vomiting or diarrhea, especially when caused by food poisoning. Vomiting with or without offensive diarrhea after eating or drinking, followed by severe muscular weakness. Averse to sight or smell of food.
Fear of death and patient thinks it is pointless to take any treatment. Anxious, mentally and physically (changes places), restless and fearful, irritable. Weak and exhausted. Desires fresh air but is sensitive to the cold.
Later stages of a head cold with sneezing; red nose, eyes and a profuse watery discharge.
Bronchial asthma, worse after midnight; fears suffocation while lying down.
Burning pains, better with heat. This is characteristic.
Ulcers with offensive discharge. Itching, black, burning, dry, rough, scaly eruptions as in psoriasis.
Sleepiness but unable to sleep; restlessness.
Thirsty for small, frequent drinks.

At about midnight{1 a.m. to 2 a.m.) and at about noon (mid-day).Better:
Right side.
Sight of food, smell of food.
Cold environment.
Cold drinks and food.
Warmth.
Head elevated.
Warm food and warm drinks.
Relations:
Complementary to Phosphorus and Carbo vegetabilis
Summary of Indications:
Anxiety - overwork - gastrointestinal disorders - bronchial asthma, coryza - skin disorders (especially when there is hyperpigmentation).
