Clinical Picture:
This remedy will relieve all insect bites, especially bee stings or any rosy or red inflamed spots on the skin with burning, soreness and stinging pains, especially with swelling.
Pains are stinging and burning.
Puffswellings around the face, swollen eyelids, bags under the eyes, mouth or in the throat.
Urticaria, oedema, ascites.
Breathing difficulties.
Thirstlessness. Scanty urine. Incontinence of urine with kidney disorders.
Usually affects the right side.

Modalities:
Worse:

Heat.Right side.
Touch.Late afternoon.
Bed is intolerable.After sleeping.
Pressure.Closed and heated room.
Open air.
Better:
Cold applications.
Motion.
Uncovering.
Sitting erect.

Relations:
Complementary to Natrium muriaticum.
Inimical to Rhus toxicodendron.

Summary of Indications:
Insect bites - urticaria - kidney and bladder disorders - oedema and ascites.

Antidotes:
Cantharis
Ipecacuanha
Ledum palustre
Natrium muriaticum (also complementary)
(Also Apis mellifica in high potency, crude form of common salt and onions.)
