Clinical Picture:Old people (especially women) of relaxed, phlegmatic habits. Extreme prostration with perspiration.
Diarrhea; has to hurry to toilet immediately after eating or drinking (Cro-ton tiglium); lax sphincter ani, driving patient out of bed early in the morning (Psorinum, Rumex crispus, Sulphur).
Before stool, rumbling, yiolent sudden urging, heaviness in rectum. When passing flatus, sensation as if stool would pass with it (Oleander, Muriaticum acidum" Natrium muriaticum).
Colic; cutting, griping pain in the right lower portion of abdomen; excruciating, before and during stool (specific for amoebic dysentery).
Hemorrhoids; blue like a bunch of grapes. Thrombosis of the hemorrhoids.
Constipation, with pressure on the lower abdomen.

Sedentary life.
Hot, dry weather.
After eating or drinking.
Standing or walking.
Cold water.
Cold weather.
Discharge of flatus and stools.
Relations:
Like Sulphur in many chronic diseases with abdominal distension and congestion of the portal circulation; develops suppressed eruptions.
