Clinical Picture:Suitable for pale, lean persons with lax, flabby muscles; face is pale and waxy (Ferrum metallicum).
Great prostration after trauma (Sulphuricum acidum), surgery, shock, hemorrhage, post-delivery shock' and after anesthesia.
Thirst: Intense, burning, insatiable, even after drinking large quantities of fluids in diabetes mellitus; chronic diarrhea and edema, but no thirst during fever.
Cannot sleep lying on the back; a sensation of sinking in the abdomen causing dyspnea; rests better when lying on the belly (Ammonium carbonicum).

Relations:
It aggravates the symptoms of Arnica montana, Belladonna atropa (especially the headache), Lachesis and Mercurius vivus disorders, Cinchona (China) officinalis is a complementary remedy.
